What responsibilities will you be handling ?
As a Laravel Developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the interchange of data between the server and the user, focusing on server-side logic and high-performance database operations.
- Defining and maintaining the central database and ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Integrating front-end elements developed by your co-workers into the application.
- Following best practices in PHP/Laravel development to maintain code quality and scalability.
- Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Laravel code.
- Identifying bottlenecks and bugs and devising effective solutions to enhance application performance and user experience.
Required qualifications/ skills
- Hands-on experience working with PHP and Laravel framework.
- Good knowledge of any relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Proficiency in working with version control system Git.
- Ability to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Laravel code.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to devise solutions to challenges.
Preferred qualifications/ skills
- Familiarity with building RESTful APIs.
- Experience in writing PHPUnit Test cases.
- Experience in monitoring and improving application performance will be a plus.
- Familiarity with deployments using AWS or Digital Ocean will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work from home and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
