Safety locker rental platform
A South India–based safety locker rental company approached Mallow to build a secure, end-to-end platform from the ground up. The client needed a safe solution for storing and sharing critical documents, reliable locker room access management, a CRM tailored to their business processes, and effective night-shift security monitoring. Real-time visibility into customer activity, bookings, and billing status was also a key requirement.
We developed a fully encrypted customer app for secure document storage and sharing, appointment booking, and locker management; an employee iPad app to control facility and locker-room doors, verify customers, and manage appointments; and customized Zoho CRM, Books, and Billing for complete operational visibility. To enhance on-ground safety and experience, we integrated BLE-based guard patrol tracking and a reliable pickup-drop service, delivering a seamless, secure, and customer-first ecosystem.

What were the client’s key challenges?
There was no reliable way for customers to store and share sensitive documents safely with trusted contacts.
Physical lockers did not have proper digital access control or tracking of who accessed them.
Available open-source CRMs were not aligned with a subscription-based locker business and its operational workflows.
There was no system to ensure guards stayed active and to record issues found during night patrols.
What was our approach?
We developed a customer app with on-device encryption, ensuring documents are encrypted before storage and decrypted only on the user’s device, preventing unauthorized access.
We built custom software for door controllers, integrated QR-based authentication for lockers, and enabled employees to grant customers access to the locker room only after verifying their details through the iPad app.
Zoho CRM, Books, and Billing were tailored to manage customer data, locker records, invoices, and activity logs, creating a single platform for operational visibility and reporting.
Integrated BLE beacons with the employee app to ensure security guards patrol every 30 minutes and enabled anomaly reports to be logged directly into Zoho CRM for management review.
